Druglink news item 1995 – Evidence slim that education can prevent drug use

With the DfE new ‘Drug proof’ initiative placed firmly in a primary prevention context, a key question is whether Britain’s drug education providers can show their programmes do actually prevent drug use. To jump to the en of our story, such evidence seems absent or very thin, though the evidence for their educational value seems strong.
