Diconal is the brand name of an opiate painkiller, dipipanone hydrochloride.

It is a pink tablet which is sometimes prepared for injection by chronic users of heroin and similar drugs. Diconal tablets contain some ingredients (including the anti-nausea drug cyclizine) which, if injected intravenously, can cause local vein damage. Damage to veins puts the drug use at risk of developing abcesses.
