User involvement, feedback, client satisfaction – call it what you will, but a couple of years ago ‘user consultation’ was meant to be the next big thing. But though it trips off people’s tongues, in reality very little has been done at the policy and planning level. To rectify that, here’s a survey which may indicate that we need to change our thinking about shared care and drug treatment.
