What is needle fixation?

A person with a needle fixation enjoys and often craves the act of injecting a drug, as much as the drug itself – often the two pleasures go hand in hand. Such a user will divide the ‘fix’ into as many shots as possible, craving the actual injection and associated ‘rush’ into the veins. The user may also resort to other substances just to satisfy this urge, quite often collapsing veins in the process.
