What are Soft Drugs?

A term sometimes used to describe drugs like cannabis or LSD which cannot result in physical dependency.

It is contrasted with hard drugs which are generally believed to be much more dangerous. Like the term hard drugs, it is a bit vague because people can still have problems using so called soft drugs. Many drug specialists will not use the term for that reason.
