DS Daily
Now brought to you by DrugWise, DS Daily is a unique news service for the drug and alcohol sector delivering widespread coverage of relevant UK news, new research and reports and government initiatives. We also cover a spread of countries outside the UK and give space to the variety of views and opinions about all aspects of the subject of interest to the sector.

Alcohol Research UK
Alcohol Research UK is an independent charity that tackles alcohol-related harm by funding high quality, impartial research. Since 1980, they have produced over 100 reports into alcohol harm, treatment, policy and culture.

Collective Voice
The Collective Voice project was started last year in the wake of the closure of DrugScope, to ensure that the voice of the drug and alcohol treatment sector and those who use the services are adequately heard.

DDN
Drink and Drugs News (DDN) is the monthly magazine for all professionals in the drug and alcohol field.

Findings
Drug and Alcohol Findings bridges the divide between UK-relevant research on the effectiveness of responses to drug and alcohol problems and the practitioners who provide those interventions. The project aims to encapsulate the studies’ findings, set them in context and explore implications for practice.

MEAM
Making Every Adult Matter (MEAM) is a coalition of four national charities – Clinks, Homeless Link, Mind (and formerly DrugScope) – formed to influence policy and services for adults with multiple needs and exclusions. Together the charities represent over 1600 frontline organisations working in the criminal justice, homelessness, mental health and drug and drug treatment sectors.

Mentor- ADEPIS – CAYT
Developing quality standards for effective alcohol and drug education. The standards draw on existing national and international guidance as well as examples of good practice in alcohol and drug education and prevention. In addition they have consulted widely with teachers, practitioners and those that support school alcohol and drug education in order to ensure that they reflect the best current evidence and practice.

NAG England
As part of the work DrugScope was doing on drug-related deaths, we worked with a number of organisations to develop a campaign under the banner of Naloxone Action Group England (NAG England).The aim is to try and ensure that naloxone (the medicine that reverses opiate overdoses) is more widely available among those most at risk, their friends, family and first responders.

Release
Release is the national centre of expertise on drugs and drugs law. The organisation, founded in 1967, is an independent and registered charity. The team provides free non-judgmental, specialist advice and information to the public and professionals on issues related to drug use and to drug laws.

Society for the Study of Addiction
The Society was founded in 1884. It is a learned society whose key objective is to support the communication of scientific knowledge about dependence on alcohol, nicotine and other drugs. It aims to encourage the systematic study of dependence and to promote policy analysis.
